After operating a convenience store next to their home in Bellevue for many years, Max and Marion Cooper bought the store in Eldon and opened as a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.coopersredwhite.com\/crw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/coopers_lucky_dollar_front_1967.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Lucky Dollar&#8221;<\/a>&nbsp;store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, to meet the community&#8217;s need for a full-line grocery store, the Lucky Dollar store became Cooper&#8217;s Red &amp; White Food Store. When first opened, the store in Eldon sold <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coopersredwhite.com\/crw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/white_rose_sign_01.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">White Rose<\/a> petroleum products. Sometime later the this was changed to the now familiar Shell brand of oil and gasoline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooper&#8217;s Food Market has served the Belfast area for 60 years and is proud to remain family run by a second and third generation of the Cooper family.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.coopersredwhite.com\/crw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/glenda__david_cooper.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">David and Glenda Cooper<\/a>, their son Bobby, and the staff at Cooper&#8217;s invite you to drop by and visit as they look forward to the next 60 years!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please drop by soon for a visit and say Hello!
